One of the easiest way to improve profit is by trading simple setups. Simple structural setups work best and easy to trade. Simple structural setup idea: Momentum burst. Stocks move in sharp burst of 3 to 5 days Simple structural setup idea: range contraction . Period of range contraction is followed by range expansion. So focus on range contraction in uptrending stock for low risk entry. Simple structural setup idea: earnings reaction. Stock react positively or negatively to earnings surprise. Focus on stock with big earnings surprise. Simple structural setup idea: stocks with momentum continue to move in direction of the momentum. Focus on top 25 to 100 stocks with 3 , 6, or 12 month momentum. Simple structural setup idea: buyer or seller exhaustion leads to turns. Look for buying exhaustion to short.  There are many ways to make money in the stock market . But not all setups are equally important. Some setups find big moves. Some setups are good for swing trading. Some setups are good for day trading . Some setups have very low risk  giving you almost free money.  Here is categorisation of my setups in 3 boxes.  Life changing setups find stocks that can make big moves. For example FSLY  These setups have very small stops , often less than 2.5%   or less stops and a time stop and as a result can quickly give good returns if they work.  These setups show up in thousands in a year. As a result there is always money making opportunity.

 No matter what time frame you are trading , look for a low risk entry points where you can put close stops. NKLA intraday is an example of that today. $4300 profit in less than an hour. It was an anticipation (ant) setup on 5 minute chart.
